Last week, watching social media, there in front of my eyes were two large dogs eating from large individual plates at a dinner table. The food was roast beef with gravy, vegetables, potatoes and a heap of freshly cooked food.
I immediately went to the comments and people were commenting about pancreatitis caused by feeding dogs like this. Pancreatitis was the furthest thing from my mind.
All I kept thinking was, is this dog owner serious? There are people worldwide on this same social media who are living in abject poverty, eating mush and you’re feeding dogs like this live online? How dare you? I felt disgusted.
Dogs actually demand table food when this is done. Every time the owner is eating their dogs are expecting food from your plate and will be crying for it while you’re trying to eat. How annoying.
