The above insects are in alphabetical order. People absolutely hate all of the above. Why?
Ants are small insects living in large highly organized colonies. Ants are on every continent except Antarctica. Ants build dirt mounds, underground tunnels or inside wood. The main female ant lays eggs to grow the family. Wingless females gather food, care for babies, and build nests. Winged male adults leave the colony to find a mate and start new groups. Ants eat seeds, leaves, sweet nectar, other insects, and household human food. In the summertime, if you leave food out and go to sleep without seeing a single ant, when you wake up there could be thousands of ants in your home on your food and difficult to extinguish without using chemical pesticides unhealthy to man. Ants act as carriers that can spread harmful bacteria like Salmonella, E.coli and Staphylococcus onto food and kitchen surfaces. Beware of ants. They travel through garbage, drains, and pet waste before entering living areas.
Flys have more than 150 species including mosquitoes. Common types of flies like houseflies live around human homes and institutions, fruit flies gather near sweet foods. Flies live all over the world, from cold polar areas to hot wet jungles. Humans detest flies or flee as they are also called. Flies spread dangerous germs like Salmonella, E. coli and cholera by landing on waste and then touching your food. Flood poisoning like Salmonella and E. coli cause dysentery in humans; a bacterial infection and cholera; a serious water and food borne bacterial infection possibly leading to death if not treated. In Africa we see on film flies all over humans which could be spreading sleeping sickness by the tsetse fly. In restaurants around the globe, flies are the big enemy due to food poisoning which occurs quite often. Everybody absolutely hates flies. Mosquitoes transmit dangerous diseases viruses and parasites, such as West Nile virus, dengue fever, Zika virus, and malaria. Malaria is one of the leading causes of death in many countries.
Ticks are small blood-sucking insects in the spider family. Spiders eat insects and very few are injurious to humans, but ticks are another case. There are deer ticks and dog ticks which are recognized as spreading illnesses such as Lyme disease, Multiple Sclerosis, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and alpha-gal syndrome. Ticks are rumored to be currently spread as bioweapons by bioengineering companies; whether true or false, is unknown. Ticks live in wooded areas, tall grass and brush. When in these areas it is wise to wear long sleeves and pants and use deet on yourself.
A good friend of mine named Stephen Cole Williams was born in Boonville, New York and raised from infancy on Snow Ridge Ski Resort in the woodlands where there are a lot of ticks. The ski resort was owned by his parents; his father was an attorney. Stephen went to Dartmouth and Yale University and become an attorney too. He was also the coach of the US Olympic Ski Team in the early 70’s. He was 10 years older than me. Stephen began feeling sick with Multiple Sclerosis about the same time he was the coach of the cross-country ski team while attending Yale.
Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating disease which is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system, characterized by fatigue, numbness, and walking difficulties. Stephen eventually was unable to talk understandably or walk and lived in an assisted living facility in Arizona where I would visit him before he moved back to New Haven, Connecticut where he had a few friends. He even asked me to marry him. He wasn’t a devout Christian like me, but I really had fond feelings for him. He’d always listen to me intently while I talked about God and the Bible prophecies. He was an amazing personality; full of vigor and intellectual energy, upbeat with a positive attitude even with having the most debilitating disease imaginable. He was a force to be reckoned with. Stephen had an incredible sense of humor, and everyone liked his lovable self. He was always able to say ‘bastards’ about politicians which would really crack me up. We had a nice online relationship too because he wrote me often. Even with all the health problems he wanted to conquer the lady.
He was very tall thin and handsome sitting in his electric wheelchair nurses surrounding him. Stephen was a real character. His friends from school even wrote a book about him called “the Monk.” He ate a lot of bananas while at his Ivy League school and was a ski coach. He ate for energy. That’s why they called him the monk; he was a monkey banana eater. The book told the tragedy of his disease. Multiple Sclerosis is caused by a deer tick bite. It wasn’t until recently medicine realized the cause. Colloidal silver is the cure if taken at the onset of the disease. I recall asking him about the cause of multiple sclerosis, but he didn’t really know up until I researched it and explained it to him. “You were raised on ski slopes in the deep woods. You were bit by a deer tick,” I explained to him. He’d had the disease for so long by then, he probably didn’t really care. His spinal cord became like a jelly fish, but his heart and mind were intact.
The poison from a deer tick bite can sit in your system for many years before you begin to have signs of disease. We must be responsible for ourselves and our children understanding insects and the diseases they cause; keeping our homes clean and free of insects always to ensure good health and long life. Remember, to care for your children and protect them from insect bites and poison.
Much Christian love at Anne Fisher Foundation.
