Oh boy! verizon wireless business set-up

I receive an email from Verizon Wireless to set up my new business account. At the end of last month, I switched my cell phone from Cricket to Verizon and my internet from Spectrum to Verizon after walking into a local Verizon store. I spent two hours in the store with the manager. These are two separate accounts, and I was told my total monthly bill will be $60. for both saving me approximately $100.00 a month. Sounds great and simple.

Not so fast. Don’t believe it. What initially made me want to change was that my cell phone using my business federal ID etc. would be $15.00 a month. A few people said it was a scam when the Verizon assistant over the phone said it was a new promotion. “Sounds good to me,” I thought.

Now, it’s a bright sunny Wednesday morning and while sipping my coffee, I decide to set up Verizon services especially billing. There are two separate account numbers on the setup; one is the cell phone and the other is the internet. It was unbelievable how difficult it was. Verizon had to verify it was me four different times in 10 minutes. Send this code. Sending another after another code and I still wasn’t accomplishing a thing. It was going on 15 minutes and I was getting very frustrated.

I called Verizon. A polite man answered with an Indian accent. His English was very good. I’m always disappointed when someone from India or Pakistan answers because I often can’t understand a sentence of their English. This man’s English was excellent although I had to tell him once to allow me to finish my sentences, so I don’t have to repeat myself or be cut off. He was performing perfect. I asked him when my bill was due and how much was it going to be remembering it was to be $15.00 per month with tax and fees attached. The bill was $39.00. I say, “what?” Break that bill down for me please. Turns out there is a lot of sales tax attached. Then I explain, “we have no sales tax in the state of Oregon.” He then tells me he is going to offer me a promotion that my bill will be a little large the first month and after that the total bill will be $17.00. “I was told my total bill would be $15.00 per month for the cell phone and a total of $60.00 per month for the phone and internet,” I said. The man calmly tells me Verizon is going to give me a $20.00 allowance on my first bill. Okay! I ask him, “where are you speaking from?” He says, southern Asia or something to that affect. I’m complaining about the difficulty setting up the business plan I’ve been sent and all the verify this and verify that and that he even had to verify me with this and that a few times and that Cricket was so easy. They’d send a bill to my text and I’d pay it. Now, I’ve been verified at least seven times and I’m still not done. I’ve been working on all of this for at least 25 minutes and I tell him of how frustrating this all is for an old lady my age. “It wasn’t that long ago when you’d just pick up the phone on the wall and talk, and now it’s a total fiasco everyday with people spying on you through your phone and all the social media on the phone. It’s exhausting,” I said. The man says, “it’s because of all the fraud going on.” I say, “It’s Satan complicating life through the Satan worshipping Zionists controlling everything including the media. Do you realize that we are living in the last days and it’s going to get much worse? Jesus is your Creator and He’s coming soon to wipe out Satan and the demons and all of the evil people destroying earth and causing chaos. They actually believe they’ll live forever some of these Zionists. Have you ever read the Bible? You can learn about God by listening to the Bible on YouTube while you’re relaxing at home too. Start with the book of Genesis. You’ll love it and you’ll come to realize there really is a God of love whose coming back for us to save us and His name is Jesus,” I proclaimed.

Then I told him thank you for being so polite and patient talking to a frustrated old lady like me. “Would you be able to answer one question please,” he said politely. “What is it? “I said. “Would you recommend Verizon to your friends,” he asked. “If all the customer service reps. are as good as you, I surely would. If I had to rate your performance, I’d give you a five-star rating.” He talked now with a smile on his face I could tell. “Thank you, mam, I really enjoyed talking to you a lot,” he said. He seemed as though he didn’t want to hang up yet. I had a lot more to take care of and my Verizon business plan wasn’t set up yet either. I said thank you and God bless you and don’t forget to read the Bible and learn about your Creator. I said thank you again and tried to hang up and he kept saying thank you to me. I enjoyed talking to him too.
