Anti-migrant riots in Dublin turned violent after a 10-year-old girl was raped by a black migrant. At night, hundreds of people came to the location at different intervals, many of them onlookers and some with young children. Then fireworks were let off and stones, bottles and masonry were thrown at Garda security cordons. Irish broadcaster RTE has reported about 2,000 people had attended, but the peaceful protest turned violent when thugs incited violence to promote fear.
Was this misdirected anger? The Irish citizens went full-throttle protesting the rape of a child.
It had to be you. The powerful DNA of my Irish bloodline were to be the first that I’ve ever heard of to protest the rape of a child.
