Right on time Lord. Thank you Father. “Many are called, but few are CHOSEN.” (Matthew 22:14)
In the Bible, specifically within the Parable of the Wedding Banquet, it suggests that while God invites many to salvation, only a SELECT few will truly accept and live according to His will, thus being “CHOSEN.”
It was just last Sunday, when I spoke of, hence, predicted at my local church’s bible study mentioning, the three sort of humans on earth according to Holy Scripture, God’s Word the Bible. They are: 1. Natural man (unbelievers) 2. Spiritual Christians, and 3. Carnal Christians (who are about themselves and their insignificant, fleshly worlds predominantly). Carnal Christians are born again and saved, some by birth. They go to church on Sunday. They take in a little milk from the words of the church pastor, and that is it, unfortunately for them. (John 17:3) They do not know the Bible. Their lives are about their pleasures, not God’s will. Carnal Christians, I mentioned less than a week ago, are those Satan uses to disturb the ministry of Spiritual Christians in every church worldwide. It’s like clockwork. It’s inevitable. Carnal Christians are easily used as ploys by Satan, the deceiver. Why ? Because they don’t know God. They have to be led by Holy Spirit to know God’s Word. They’re not.
Evidenced by the group of Christians at this Bible study, I said that, “carnal Christians are used by the devil to attack spiritual Christians in their ministry.” Carnal Christians usually have no ministry at all. They don’t know what a Christians ministry even is, but they call themselves Christian nonetheless. The following is but one trial among many constant trials I’ve been through lately.
Here’s what happened to me on July 4, 2025 Independence Day.
Thank you Lord that I am independent. I rely solely, exclusively and completely on you Lord.
So, I drive into town where I own properties in, and set up my table with my sign which says, “Women Protecting Women and Children,” giving hope and homes to those in need. annefisherfoundation.org.
I set up the table at the end of the main thoroughfare facing the main street where the Independence Day parade is going to walk through from city hall. A local woman in charge of the parade asks me if I had “something or other” from “somewhere or other.” I tell Connie, “I spoke to Hannah at city hall and that I’m doing the Lord’s work.” Connie tells me, “she is too.” God bless her. She says, “she’ll go and get me, whatever” and never returns. The entire time spent at the parade is a total of two hours.
Then this unsophisticated male person who I recognize, who goes to one of the same churches as I do, starts going on about ‘this and that’ and informs me he’s been living in this town (population 950) for over 25 years. (Big shot ?) He’s the self-proclaimed authority guru ? I knew this would inevitably happen, having lived in a few rural towns throughout my lifetime. (Ask Google: Why do small town residents not like new people that move in? )
While the small town “big shot” is speaking to me, he uses the F bomb. I tell him, “do not swear in front of me.” He says, “sorry.”
Eventually, I hand him two of my identifying cards thinking possibly he’ll understand who I am and what I’m standing in this “neck of the woods in the middle of nowhere” doing. Then as he sits on a nearby bench in the shade, he tells me, “I’m involved in my own local ‘this or that’ and I don’t want your card,” and proceeds to set them on the bench, scoffingly.
The small town schmuck, who by the way I’ve never seen at any bible study, sits the cards on the bench. I walk back to my table thinking, “like I need anyone or anything to patronize the Lord’s good works.”
Does he not know who God is ? “God is Love.” (1 John 4:8) Every four minutes a woman or child is sexually assaulted in America on Independence Day and everyday. There are 22,875 people experiencing homelessness as of January 2024 in the state of Oregon. This rude schmuck’s life is apparently so sweet and unencumbered, he isn’t intellectually emotionally, or otherwise able to “think outside his small town box ?” Who cares about protecting women and children.
“Get behind me Satan !” (Matthew 16:23 and Mark 8:33) In these verses, Jesus is speaking to dissuade those thinking not about God’s will, but rather about carnal trivial human concerns, so trivial, a spiritual Christian and God will “spit them out,” because they are “lukewarm” and with strength continue in “spiritual warfare” wearing their “suit of armor” walking with their Lord with everlasting life in their future. (John 17:3)
Those of us “chosen,” tested; who have suffered, been through and lost much, we will, I will, without fail, walk with integrity with my Lord, every step of my life without fail, whether in a small rural town or my hometown, the big city of Chicago, wherever, no matter, I will walk with “love,” as an ambassador of Christ because “I know I am representing Jesus” in everything I do. Thank you Lord for the privilege.
Always Christian with love at Anne Fisher-of-men Foundation.
