Asking the question, “what obstacles do women face in everyday life today?” Obviously, the list is endless. What are the struggles of a productive Christian woman today ? Well, with the guidance of our Lord, all obstacles are conquerable and the Lord in His Word promises us at Matthew 17:20: “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

There is a woman in the Bible named Lydia who was of a great deal of importance in Bible times. Lydia was a novice Christian and a seller of purple dye. Newly converted and baptized, no one in Philippi, except Paul and his companions, had been a follower of Jesus for longer than Lydia. Lydia’s entire family was baptized and Lydia provided a home for Paul, the Lord’s disciple. Lydia was the founding member of the Phillipian congregation. All of this Lydia accomplished with the Lord’s guidance and an idea she had which created an honest job Lydia managed from home and into the marketplace. Lydia used her work of selling purple to spread the Gospel. Lydia had both a practical job and a heavenly one here on earth.

It was hard work gathering murex sea snails off the shores of the Mediterranean Sea necessary to produce a purple dye called Tyrian purple. The purple dye was extremely expensive due to the large number of snails needed to produce a small amount of dye. Because of its cost, Tyrian purple was often reserved for the very wealthy, royalty and high ranking officials in ancient civilizations.

Soldiers mocked Jesus by dressing him in a purple robe as a way to make fun of his claim to be the “King of the Jews.”

Lydia became an accomplished business woman who created a formidable and manageable Christian lifestyle for herself and so can you sisters. Your home based career starts with your recognition of your personal skills, talents and desires and an awareness that you will learn as you build your business. If you have no capital, a service business can be started with zero money. First, register your business name or trademark with the Secretary of State where you live. Then learn to market your business.

Start your journey as an entrepreneur. Begin writing your journal of ideas today and remember to prioritize. An idea you’ve created, well thought out and researched, can turn into a lucrative small business allowing you more time to care for yourself, your family and most importantly, your relationship with your creative Creator who loves His creative disciples and promises your success as an entrepreneur. (see Book of John chapter 17 )

“Rainy days and Mondays always used to get me down, hanging around, nothing else to do, but frown (song by Carpenters); because “It’s A Jungle Out There.” (song by Randy Newman) Highly improbable the jungle out there is going to get me down today. Why ?

“You are the light of the world, a city is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” Matthew 5:14-16) I’ve created a foundation and I have a lot of work to do. “Light My Fire,” Lord. (Luke 17: 7)

Half of the population or more on earth are female women and children all of which oftentimes, live with fear of physical assault or of predators because statistics are one-half or more of women on earth are violently assaulted today. (Luke 17:26-37)

Domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for 80% of women and children. Half of our homeless population it is said are employed. Some have a car or RV, but the remainder are either couch surfing or living in tents, if they’re fortunate.

The stress of modern day living for women is “through the roof.” Worse for those who don’t even have a roof. The homeless in their vulnerability are targeted too because “they” can. “Do not rob a poor man because he is poor because you can or exploit the needy in court.” (Proverbs 22:22) The parable of the “Rich Man and Lazarus” is where a wealthy man ignores the needs of a poor beggar named Lazarus at his gate, and after death, the rich man faces consequences. (Luke 16:19-31)

The beloved women of the Bible endured much then. This is now and often dangerous for Christian women, all women especially unbelievers with children in these “last days.” Women who don’t know God’s laws are targets for evil if they don’t obey God’s commandments written to protect His creation of men and women. (Exodus 20) Christians with Bible knowledge are informing everyone on earth to protect everyone against any threat of harm, on the internet, in the neighborhood, the television, out shopping in public. This is wisdom from above.

Unitedly, Christian “Women Protecting Women and Children” will positively join now. Our Lord Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, if you have FAITH as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17: 20-21) Christian women will lead in protecting others through God’s words, actions and spirit.

Not only do our Christian hearts have faith and an abundance of LOVE to develop change, but we shout the “good news” of our Savior Christ Jesus, which is the only solution to any of mankind’s problems anyways. Christian women as ambassadors for Christ each extend energy to the needy because, “We LOVE our Lord our God with all of our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “We will LOVE our neighbors as ourselves.” (Matthew 22:37-39) Together we will do this because:

We are the “light of the world.”

Who knew homeless American women and kids are being treated this bad? “I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11) Case in point: Maui Island, Hawaii in August 2023 had the deadliest U.S. wildfire in over a century devastating the Hawaiin Island of Maui claiming 102 lives and leveled the historic town of Lahaina leaving thousands homeless. Or Hurricane Helene which just days ago ravaged Asheville, North Carolina echoing another disaster where residents continue to be stranded for days without electricity, shelter, blankets, cell phones, nothing and have to message loved ones, if they have any, that they were still alive, but homeless now. They have nowhere to go. At least 133 deaths in six Southeastern states have been attributed to the storm Hurricane Helene that inflicted damage from Florida’s Gulf Coast to the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia causing thousands of American citizens to become homeless. And what did Jesus admonish his servants to do? He said, at Book of Matthew 25:35-40, where Jesus identifies with the needy, suggesting that giving to the homeless is akin to giving to Him directly. And then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me,” and this will always be what we do for communities coast to coast showing love and hope in order to give homes to American homeless women and children. We are locating investors like you to purchase real estate suitable to give homes at record numbers. We’re strong industrious women willingly working to get what we need: HOMES. American homeless women and children who are more than deserving of having a warm safe lovely home to be at peace with God will work with The Anne Fisher Foundation too. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED and seeking investors who will have a lot of JOY and get LOVE and PEACE OF MIND, “that you gave something from your HEART to someone in need.” Always Christian at AnneFisherFoundation.org
