When did Jesus say that his disciples have to go to the same church every week ?
Why would the “Creator of the Universe” want His disciples to widen out, meet disciples, make new acquaintances, explore other places, preach the “good news,” start Bible studies, and worship Him wherever His Holy Spirit sends them ?
Did Jesus limit his followers ?
Paul, inspired by God wrote at 2 Corinthians 6:11-13, “O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your OWN affections. Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be OPEN.” (KJV)
Open, to “think outside of the box.” Did you listen to that, but didn’t hear it when Jesus said, “you also be open”? Christians are to be open to others, their neighbors, wherever they go. God isn’t limiting us, we limit ourselves.
Here are a two of my favorite Christian pastors on-line with millions of followers. I opened my heart to these two super fine brothers when I was seeking wisdom from above.
My favorite is DLM Christian Ministries. Daniel, the son of a pastor was young, like Paul’s true son in the faith, Timothy when he began evangelizing as a teenager. Daniel speaks on topics of every Biblical topic related to local needs, current events, counseling of every sort, and proclaims the message with passion and with authority, exactly like Jesus. He even quotes scripture and prints the entire scripture on the screen for Christians to see and take note. Unlike the vast majority of pastors in churches who dwell their ministry on times when God’s followers were nomads, Daniel is practical and limitless. His earthly father trained him from infancy, exactly as Jesus instructed.
Then there is young pastor, David Diga Hernandez. Remember, God’s chosen are fleeing churches (most churches are a part of Satan’s empire of false religion, “Babylon the Great” spoken of at Revelation chapters 17-18 and the church members have no idea) in record numbers in these “last days.” (Matthew 24) God’s chosen, filled with Holy Spirit will take in Bible knowledge in so many ways and are limitless. Pastor, David speaks truth, and nothing but. His Christian maturity, faith, Bible knowledge, and superior speaking skills are beyond measure, they are superior.
Widen out friends. There is so much more going on in this world than in your local churches.
Widen out friends. Feel the joy the Lord gives us when we meet so many different people in so many different places and spread the Lord’s message to all we meet.
Widen out friends. “Born again,” adult Christians are already Christians. “Go therefore and make disciples” outside your box, outside your comfort zone, outside your church, and show love to your neighbors. Preach the “good news.” This is the disciple making work. Amen
