Our brothers and sisters in Christ are crying out after an egregious bloody month of June, 2026. In the Congo, Islamic jihadists are conducting a village-by-village extermination of Christians. In just the last several days, over 100 Christians have been hunted down and slaughtered; dragged from their homes, beheaded, and executed in groups or raped and held hostage.
Over 1200 Christians have been massacred since December of 2024. The jihadists’ ultimatum is savage: Deny Christ or die.
In Nigeria, ISIS terrorists slaughtered dozens as they bowed in prayer and went about their day. Among the 39 killed were a doctor and his parents and a beloved math teacher who was beheaded.
This violence has sparked a national outcry, and Nigerian Christians responded with a period of mourning. Unfortunately, the persecution of Christians by Islamic terrorists has not paused.
The United Nations Human Rights Council called on Nigeria to take action to protect Christians. They have not to date.
Let Your Kingdom Come Lord. The earth and its people are weeping. No place and no one are safe. Women and children everywhere around the globe must be cautious to protect themselves always.
