If you need to relax, soak your feet in warm water for 15-20 minutes. Warm water expands blood vessels promoting blood flow to heal sore muscles. You can use Epsom salt, hydrogen peroxide, hemp seed oil; anything your heart desires can be used to soak your feet with. It’s okay to soak your feet two or three times a week, but too many times withers away natural oils. Taking good care of our feet is essential; especially for those with diabetes. Diabetics can lose all or part of their feet from sores that fail to heal. If you have a sore on your foot, take good care of it. Watch that it heals properly. See a podiatrist if it doesn’t.
Warm foot soaks relieve tension, boost circulation and relieves pain; especially arthritic pain. Who doesn’t need a foot soak once in a while? We all do. Be sure your feet aren’t cramped in the warm water pan. The water should come up above the ankles. You might have to refresh the warmth of the water. Our feet are at the end of our nervous system and reflexology maps reveal the points of our feet attached to all of our organs. When a reflexologist massages your feet; they will usually explain what organ their working on. We can even give our own feet a good rub after a soak.
Try it. ENJOY !
