Jesus didn’t come to earth to start a religion. His earliest followers were called “the Way,” not a doctrine but a direction meaning, we are following a path, and one of the most radical things Jesus explained in Holy Scripture is when He said, “the Kingdom of God is within you,” not after death, but here and now. (Luke 17:20-21) What He was pointing to was not worship of a person, but recognition of a presence, a living breathing relationship with our divine Creator God, not through fear, but through the Holy Spirit of awareness.
After the sacrificial death of Jesus our Savior, institutions formed and institutions by their nature seek to control. There were congregations of Christians in the first century as brought out in Holy Scripture, and they gathered in homes or places of meeting, not in buildings called churches, why? because the individual Christians were the “church”. When all the many churches were first established, centuries later, starting with Catholicism according to “The Moody Handbook of Theology.” The official beginning of the Roman Catholic Church was 590 C.E. with Pope Gregory, when the message shifted from “you are one with God” to “you must earn your way back,” but the original invitation remains unchanged. There are currently 10 or more Christian denominations, churches, and all of them teach a different Christian message and have various unbiblical practices. All of them. It’s referred to as organized religion, for profit. Every Christian church building is controlled by a pastor who did not follow Jesus’s instruction, “If you want to be perfect (complete) go, sell your belongings and give to the poor, and you will have treasures in heaven. Then come follow me.” (Luke 18:22)
Christian churchgoers are stuck in a demonic quagmire; most churchgoers do not typically know or want honest teaching but prefer a voice that keeps them comfortable. Churches will not endorse “the Way.” Pastors oftentimes do not even know “the way.”
Are pastors teaching what is about to come upon Christians today according to current events and scripture? Such as, the one world religion, the mark of the beast, the anti-Christ, false religious practices, or the millions of missing children being kidnapped and sacrificed to Satan? Hardly. (Revelation 17 and 18) Churches teach “milk vs. solid food.” Jesus said, “I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now, you are not ready for it.” (1 Corinthians 3:2 1 Peter 2:2, Hebrews 5:12-13) Note: Two 12-year-olds, a girl and a boy were sitting in the back of church. The girl was wearing a mini-mini skirt? Every six seconds a woman or child is raped.
So now, step beyond dogma and listen deeply Christians, “we were never meant to follow a religion, or a place of worship,” but we were invited to ‘wake up’ and realize the divine truths we each seek which have always been living within us all along and is “the Way.”
Granted that Jesus instructed His disciples to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together” found in Hebrews 10:25. Gather together for what purpose? Gather together to build each other up in the “disciple making work” and to take in knowledge of the one true God. (John 17:1-3) What else ask yourself. Be taxed? First century Christians did not gather to worship. When Jesus visited the synagogue in Jerusalem the people would debate and speak on scripture. Remember, they did not have Bibles then. They had scrolls. They gathered to build each other up and to do the evangelical work together with unbelievers they met on the outside. They were on a mission to contribute to the community assisting the poor too. The Roman Empire persecuted and killed Christians. One reason being that the Christians were more successful in contributing to the community better than them.
God’s chosen anointed have awareness through Holy Spirit, and continuous study of Holy Scripture. You can’t interpret Holy Scripture if you do not have the Holy Spirit. God’s anointed are focused on making disciples, Jesus’ great commission as explained in many scriptures, one being in the book of Matthew 28:19-20. God’s anointed reach out individually to the poor too in whatever way, even in small contributions to anyone in need. Holy Spirit directs us. God’s anointed are never supported in churches, are always set apart, are different in all manmade so-called Christian churches. Why? Holy Spirit cannot be controlled. True Christians are on a mission. An evangelical mission.
Awareness isolates. It’s the price of clarity. God’s anointed are not interested much in church socials or small talk. Why would we be? How do we have time when our focus is on the “disciple making work,” and helping the poor when gasoline prices are through the roof in these “last days” and we are senior citizens in America? (Isaiah 61:1) Barely one Christian churchgoer in my neck of the woods in America is conducting a Bible study with anyone. Their Christian pastors are focused on their salary, not the Christian disciple making. The pastor speaks less than two hours a week. The rest is all social gathering, no disciple making work and no local needs, such as, teach women to dress modestly as Biblically instructed.
All churches control their members. All of them. Do this, do that, bring this, celebrate this or that, donate to their individual causes, not Jesus’ command “give it all to the poor and come follow me.” You’re actually only supporting a church building in these “last days,” when it is purported that over 15,000 American churches will close in 2026 due to lack of churchgoers, lawsuits and more.
Christian churches are teaching this or that today, most in boring sermons by males we find ourselves sitting through preaching with zero zeal, entirely flat. Why am I sitting through this, we ask ourselves? You’ve heard the same message over and over and the pastor isn’t even qualified to “qualify his audience,” continuously preaching an elementary message, whatever the subject, feeding milk to mature Christian adults, and we actually sit through it.
My favorite pastor is Daniel with DLM Christian Lifestyle online. Daniel speaks truth zealously on every pertinent subject a mature Christian wants to hear and know. Not just about Christians 2000 years ago but about Christianity today.
Your awareness is that… not one pastor in “so-called” Christian churches or their members are teaching the fact that we as individual Christians are “the Way” individually teaching the truth and are conducting Bible studies with adults outside of buildings, their churches, because we are the “church.” God’s anointed Christians are all conducting Bible studies. Are you?
Maybe no one in your church, come to find out, is truly “the Way.” Jesus said, “YOU are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church” at Matthew 16:18. Peter was an individual follower of Jesus and was a “church” to almighty God. Rarely, if ever, do Christian pastors even know or speak of this. They are the proverbial “blind leading the blind,” don’t know it, and unable to “think outside their box.” They continue to speak of past Christians in their church buildings, don’t they? Pastors today are they “the Way”? (Matthew 15:14) “Let them alone: they be blind lead by blind; both shall fall into the ditch.” (Luke 6:39) It’s a warning to teachers who have extra responsibility and are misguided and misguiding Jesus flock and will suffer catastrophic results falling into a ditch. James 3:1 says clearly, teachers of the Word are held to a higher standard and will face stricter judgment because they are responsible for the spiritual guidance and impact on others making their role a high-stakes task.
Having the awareness that not one Christian church, none of the organized religious Christian church denominations are perfectly following Holy Scripture, such as, practice the Sabbath, fasting, repentance, and most are practicing unbiblical pagan festivals, and not teaching congregants how to start and teach Bible studies. All we can do is pray for them and their narcissistic pastors in their despotic run church; people pleasing rather than God-fearing.
We as individuals are the Way…and Jesus is the only truth. “Go therefore and make disciples.” (Matthew 28:19)
