“the one who endures to the end will be saved”

“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” (Book of Matthew chapter 24:13) This verse of Holy Scripture is referring to Christians with the strongest faith in God who persevere amid difficulties, losses, hardships, and persecutions and remain solid in their Christian walk by relying on Holy Spirit and Jesus to the end of their lifetime on earth.

Hebrews 12:1-3 admonishes believers to run with endurance “the race” set before them by laying aside hindrances and obstacles and to focus on Jesus. In other words, to live simply and be satisfied. As we age with many years of practice, it becomes second nature. Christians have endured poverty, then became rich. Christians have endured material wealth and then became poor. Christians have endured poor health and have regained their good health. How did they endure all the betrayals and the dark spiritual attacks and then stood up and remained spiritually mature, complete with Godly wisdom? “Now, this is eternal life: their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one who you sent.” (John 17:3) Meaning, Christians who rely on God’s WORD through Jesus, the Holy Scriptures and the knowledge and wisdom they’ve learned and earned are the “one’s who will be saved.” The mature Christian applied their Bible knowledge in their daily lives. When obstacles to their faith were presented, they perservered in faith.

Saved when? Saved when the end of the wicked demonic influence controlling all of mankind is finally judged by Jesus and cut off for eternity.

Saved when the wicked are gone and the loyal follower of Jesus is saved and blessed with everlasting life in God’s promised kingdom where only love and peace reign. (Matthew 24)

Saved because they were tested, proved loyal, endured much and stood firm with Jesus. Amen
